Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the daddies out there!
Today I took the brilliant daddy, that is Mr P out for a yummy meal at Jamie’s Italian and yesterday l had tea with my daddy (who incidentally was not impressed with my message to him in my last blog post!) Sorry dad!! Let me take this opportunity to say how lucky I am to have a wonderfully supportive, lovely daddy. My dad has not been in the best health over recent years and I am very grateful that he is doing well at the moment and that we got to celebrate together.
This coming week is a very busy one for me! Lots of meetings and lots of keeping my fingers crossed!
In the meantime, I have of course been working on some new recipes and this weeks’ one is: Fudgy Flapjack Fingers. This is an easy and delicious treat – I particularly like it for breakfast as an alternative to a cereal bar. It is especially perfect for breakfast as it has porridge oats and crushed cornflakes in it.
Mr P has been having a fiddle with my blog this evening, putting a recipe widget on the right hand side and changing my home page. I would love to know your thoughts!
I need an early night!!!!
