An Evening of Chocolate and The Great British Bake Off!

I’ve emerged from my October craziness to briefly say hello!!
So far I have had my daughters’ 5th arts and crafts party and my son’s 8th cooking party (which I ran) and it’s all been lovely! I even managed to make Master P a cake that he liked – a giant chocolate crispie cake in the shape of the number 8!
I have also managed to fit in a fantastic visit to Salon du Chocolat – the world’s largest chocolate show! I was lucky enough to be invited to their Gala Evening and I took my lovely friend Natasha with me! We sampled (lots) of delicious chocolates that (almost) looked too good to eat.

It was fabulous to meet Paul A Young the master chocolatier:
And catch up with my gorgeous baking buddy, Cathryn Dresser from last year’s Great British Bake Off:
It was really great to FINALLY meet the totally charming John Whaite from last year’s Great British Bake Off:
And it was so lovely that Natasha, Cathryn, John, myself and some other fantastic people, including Toby, Rob and Howard from this year’s Great British Bake Off all decided to go to dinner together!
It truly was a fabulous evening and a welcome break from the madness of Peltober!!!
This weekend Mr P and I celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and I have absolutely no idea what Mr P has planned…..! It will be nice to be surprised…..I think!
