Busy Bee!

Hello,
Busy Bee Suzy here! The run up to Christmas is always my busy time and this year has been busier than ever!
I spent a really fun morning making mug cakes from my book with twitter’s My Legoman!
If you haven’t heard of My Legoman, then check out the baking world’s tiniest celebrity over on twitter! He manages to get himself into lots of brilliant baking personalities’ kitchen and often is found on top of/inside their baking!!!
I had a great time at The Cake and Bake Show in Manchester at the weekend:
My dad and son came to watch me and despite it being a whirlwind day (I travelled to and from Manchester in a day and I live in London) it was really fun! Really good to catch up with John Whaite and Ugne Bubnaityte too!
Big thanks to Nick Coffer at BBC Three Counties Radio for having me (and my sous chef Gracie) on his Weekend Kitchen Show. I made three recipes from my book and talked food, former dance music careers (!!) and getting my children to eat cake! You can catch the show on BBC iplayer here and I will be back on Weekend Kitchen on 10th December!
I loved going to eat my Masterchef Finalist friend Saira Hamilton‘s food at The Glasshouse Restaurant at the Grove Hotel while she was the guest chef there:
Saira is not only a phenomenal chef but she is also bloody hilarious and I was delighted that she joined us for a natter!
I also attended Spirit of Christmas Fair and Country Living Fair to stock up on Christmas presents and try lots of different foods (especially cheese…!) And I have eaten out lots including at Pizza Express (for the kids’ birthdays), Kiyoto Sushi and Chez Mumtaj (for our wedding anniversary).
I still have a few more competitions to go before the end of the year, so keep an eye on those and don’t forget to find me on social media – twitter, facebook and instagram for all of my latest news – especially instagram where I post stories daily!
