I’m Supporting Marie Curie’s Blooming Great Tea Party Campaign Again

I am delighted that for the 5th year running, I am supporting Marie Curie’s Blooming Great Tea Party Campaign and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever! Once again we have the brilliant Mel Giedroyc supporting and this year we’re also thrilled to have John Lewis on board! I can not tell you how excited I am for my own Blooming Great Tea Party – it really is the highlight of my summer.
This year, to mark 5 years since I won ITV’s Lorraine’s Cake Club Competition, I have brought my winning cake recipe back as the Official Tea Party Cake. You can find the recipe for my Banana & Chocolate Cake in this year’s fundraising pack that you’ll receive once you sign up, as well as lots of helpful tools for making your own tea party special – such as bunting, balloons and donation boxes.

Sadly, since last year’s campaign my own Mum passed away. I now understand more than ever how important it is that people at the end of their lives are given personalised support, enabling them to be at home, surrounded by their loved ones. The service that Marie Curie offers is absolutely essential.
