Filming with Mel Giedroyc!!!

Yesterday was most definitely one of the best baking days post winning Lorraine’s Cake Club Competition, because I got to bake with this lovely lady:
Yes it’s the totally fabulous Mel Giedroyc! Currently best known for presenting The Great British Bake Off with Sue Perkins, but for me she’ll always be Mel from Light Lunch!
Mel is the celebrity ambassador for Marie Curie’s Blooming Great Tea Party Campaign and I am their Baking Queen, so it was decided to bring the both of us together for a baking tutorial to hopefully get more people to sign up to host a tea party!
Together we baked my marble cupcakes and then decorated them! It was genuinely SO much fun and Mel was a true delight! The finished video should be ready around the end of next week and I can’t wait for you to see it!!!
In the meantime, here’s a few more behind the scenes shots! Mel and I had some very funny chats both on and off screen about plastic surgery and spray tans!
But most importantly we talked about how fun our Blooming Great Tea Parties had been last year and how much we were looking forward to this years’!
