Catch Up From Me

Hello,
It’s been a little while since I gave you an update on me and for that I apologise! Life has been more than a little bit busy, but it’s all good! Plus I have three very quiet, placid, shy children to look after….(anyone who knows my kids knows that none of these statements apply to them!!!!)
Anyway…so Bake With Suzy baking kits continue to go from strength to strength and were spotted in Boardmans in South Africa this month: (Thank you to Lisa and Dani for the picture!)
I am meeting with my colleagues in the next couple of weeks to discuss expanding the range – I have lots of ideas!
A big thank you goes out to Hans Sloane Chocolates who have featured my chocolate cake using their beads, on their website!
Their chocolate is absolutely delicious and a dream to bake with. I’m very lucky because they sent me two huge bags of chocolate beads…but I must stop dipping my hand in to eat some as they’ll be none left at this rate! You can get your hands on their chocolate here.
This Friday I am taking part in The Sick Children’s Trust’s Big Chocolate Brownie Bid along with 20 other people, including Jools Oliver, Paul A Young and Rosemary Shrager. We will all be baking 2 batches of our own brownies to be auctioned off to the highest bidder!
The money will all go to support The Sick Children’s Trust, who provide home from home accommodation to families who have a child in hospital. There will be a live leaderboard, so any support you give me and more importantly The Sick Children’s Trust will be very gratefully received!! I’m officially back as Marie Curie’s Blooming Great Tea Party Queen for the third year!
This year promises to be very exciting, including some recipe videos from me! The first one can be found here and I even have my own recipe page on Marie Curie’s site! My Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies are a BIG family favourite in my house! Check out my recipe page here!
And finally, Suzy Pelta Bakes is rebranding! It will be THREE YEARS on May 3rd since I won Lorraine’s Cake Club Competition:
I launched my site that very same week with absolutely no idea what I was doing…not sure I have a huge amount more of an idea now and that’s why I’ve got the experts from Exp. Design to help me! Look out for my new look site coming very soon……
So that’s all from me for now! I have many more competitions organised & lots more recipes coming up…watch this space…
