Merry Christmas!!
I hope everyone has had a lovely day and is suitably stuffed full of yummy food! I certainly am! My menu today consisted of canapés of:
Cornflake chicken pieces
Mini lamb koftas
Sesame honey chicken sausages
Spinach & chickpea cakes
All served with a choice of humous, sweet chilli sauce, hot chilli sauce & peri peri sauce.
We then had:
Roast turkey
Chipolata sausages
Stuffed red onions
Crushed rosemary potatoes
Maple syrup parsnips
Chorizo sprouts
Sweet carrots
Tomato & olive salad
Coleslaw
Gravy
Cranberry sauce
And finally for dessert was:
Blueberry pavlova
Chocolate mousse
Fruit platter
Christmas pudding &
Ice cream
I am very very full!!!
Infact all I have done over the past week, is eat!
Yes once again I turned 29 and for those of you that were worried, I can assure you I was thoroughly spoilt! I was taken out for dinner three times and Mr P took me to see Billy Elliot in the West End! I celebrated with family & friends and received lots of brilliant presents! I can honestly say it was the best birthday ever and I am thoroughly glad I just let myself be surprised.
Talking of surprises, I know many of you have given or have received ‘Bake With Suzy’ tins for Christmas! Please do send me pictures when the kits have been baked, to add to my new gallery
Right….well there is a box of Cadbury Heroes calling my name…guess I can squeeze a bit more food in…. 😉
