There is a lovely atmosphere in this country at the moment. It feels really nice to celebrate Britain being winners! The Olympics have been brilliant for reminding us how important sport is (this is coming from me, the least sportiest person you will find) and for reminding us that we have great sporting role models out there (I rather like Greg Rutherford….and he is a keen baker!)
My son has been mesmerised by the Olympics. He would happily have spent entire days flicking through the channels watching different events. (I can assure you that we didn’t let him spend entire days doing this!) He’s definitely going to miss it….until the Paralympics start!!!
