Time for another competition!!

Introducing Chinskitchen.

Chinskitchen create award-winning Nankhatai, luxury celebration/wedding cakes, bakes and treats with a unique Indian twist. Their products are handcrafted using quality ingredients sourced for their taste and purity. Nutmeg from Grenada, pistachios from Iran, to edible organic flowers from Devon.

Raised in Mombasa, Kenya, Chinskitchen founder: Chintal Kakaya grew up in a close-knit, food-loving community and rapidly learned how to satisfy a hungry crowd with all manner of traditional sweets and savouries. Following in her mum’s footsteps, Chin always harboured a love of baking, and her multi-cultural background instilled an insatiable curiosity when it came to experimenting with spices and flavourings. In 2013, ChinsKitchen began to take shape – initially as a food blog which served as a platform for Chin to share a myriad of unique baking recipes.

Using Chin’s creative mind and skills in blending flavours, she creates a variety of delectable Nankhatai, which are Indian shortbreads that are handmade in batches using a balanced blend of spices and ingredients sourced for their purity. Traditionally served with Masala chai for breakfast,  tea time or gifted to celebrate a special occasion. Deliciously  crisp, light in texture, melt in the mouth and bold in flavour these little delights will leave your senses luring for more.

A lighter side to shortbread, they make an ideal gift for any occasions or simply perfect for personal consumption or Afternoon tea. Plus they are free from artificial flavourings, additives or preservatives, made with reduced sugar content and suitable for vegetarians, (they contain no eggs).

Chinskitchen‘s Nankhatai are available in the following flavours:

1. Almond and pistcachio – Great Taste Award 2016
2. Rose and Cardamom –  Great Taste Award 2016
