America

Posted on July 1, 2012

I love America. I always imagined I would marry an American and spend my days mesmerised by his accent. Instead I married a man from Wembley….it’s not the same.

This week my American friends celebrate the 4th July. In tribute to them, I have created my ‘No Bake S’mores Cake’. This cake reminds me of the three summers I spent in America in my late teens. It was there that I was introduced to Hershey’s Chocolate, dipping animal crackers into pots of ready made frosting and s’mores. S’mores are graham cracker sandwiches with marshmallow and chocolate in the middle. A real camp fire treat! I LOVED them and so creating this easy cake was as much for my American friends as it was for me! I have to say, taking a bite of my ‘No Bake S’mores Cake’ transported me right back. Such wonderful wonderful memories!

Anyway, this week I launch my first competition! I have teamed up with My Secret Kitchen to offer my subscribers a chance to win a delicious prize! And believe me, My Secret Kitchen produce absolutely amazing products! So, if you are not a subscriber, get subscribing as you need to have subscribed to be eligible to enter!!

Right…I’m aiming to have an early night tonight. I wish I could say that I have had too many late nights partying and having fun….actually I’ve spent too many late nights on twitter. Oh dear!

Nighty night
