Disney Magic

Posted on May 30, 2016

Apologies for the delay in writing this catch up, but I have had the Disney blues after the most magical family holiday in Florida. I’m not sure how I can sum it up, but as a big kid myself, I loved every ride, every character and every meal, and it was also incredibly special to watch my children experience it all too!

(Ok maybe I didn’t love every ride…)

I wore Minnie ears every single day and I am still trying to work out if it is acceptable to wear them on the school run?

I spent a lot of time eating,

(I seem to have only taken pictures of desserts…ooops!)

And visiting supermarkets

– all for research purposes of course! 😉

And rather than buy any clothes, this was that I brought home with me:

I would love to say I am embarrassed…but I am not!! 😉

And so then it was home and back to reality (namely never ending washing and the re-instatement of Mummy’s taxi service!) But I have been working very hard on my very fabulous secret project….and when I can tell you what its all about, I promise you I will!

In Bake With Suzy news, Bake British has just finished a very successful run on Achica and is soon going to be on sale in China!!! Huge thanks to my colleague Darren at Infinity Brands for all his hard work to make this happen!

In Marie Curie News, I had the honour of giving the opening speech at Mel Giedroyc’s Blooming Great Tea Party, which was so much fun! Mel really is as hilarious as you would hope she was!! Look out for a blog post over on my Marie Curie page soon. And there is still time to sign up to host your own tea party here.

So that’s all for now…lots more competitions on the way, but for the moment there is some extra special baking to do! Talking of baking, my marble cupcakes make a great Bank Holiday bake! Plus the recipe is accompanied by a pretty funny video of Mel Giedroyc & I. You can find it here.

I will be back soon!
