Busy, Brilliant Baking Times!
Posted on October 4, 2015
It seems like I start every blog post with an apology for it being ages since my last one and I’m afraid this is no different! However, its only because I have been brilliantly busy!
So what have I been up to? Well, I have been a judge at The World Bread Awards. I was part of the gluten free judging team, which enabled me to learn so much about gluten free baking! I also got to say hello to some familiar baking faces, including my lovely friend Luis Troyano:
I’m really looking forward to the Awards Dinner this coming week…..I just need to work out what to wear…(do I have enough dresses?)
I’ve also been filming some recipes for Waitrose TV!
It was such a fun day filming and was especially lovely to film in such a beautiful kitchen:
I’ll post links to the recipes when they are live, and I cant wait for you to see them!
I’ve written my final blog post of 2015 for Marie Curie’s Blooming Great Tea Party Campaign and revealed that my final tea party total was in fact (drumroll please…) £1000!!!!!
I’m thrilled with this amount and I’m thrilled with this year’s campaign as it has been the best yet! Read my final post here.
And finally, I spent Friday at The Cake and Bake Show (I needed another pointing finger):
With some of these lovely people:
I ran a fun class on making brownies, in the Baking Classroom:
And also baked live on the Supertheatre Stage (time for a backstage selfie):
If you came to see me, then thank you so much and as promised, all of the recipes that I demoed are here:
The Cake & Bake Show was a great experience and I came away feeling really inspired 🙂 And so now it is back to the kitchen as I have some more very busy baking times ahead!
I’ll be back soon(ish) with another update 😉
