Breast Cancer Care is encouraging people nationwide to take part in its Pink Friday fundraising campaign this October, by wearing pink, eating pink or partying pink on a Friday! All the money raised will go towards supporting women and men affected by breast cancer. You will all know by the colour of my blog, the colour of my Kitchen Aid, and most of my kitchen accessories, that I love the colour pink! It brightens up your day and makes you smile!

Having a Pink Friday is easy to do and can include anything from wearing pink at work while enjoying pink food and drinks, to a pink pamper party with your friends at home, or getting your class to wear pink to school. It truly is a fun and rewarding way to do your bit for charity.

I’m encouraging all my readers to bake my pink recipe – my Raspberry Lemonade Cheesecake for Pink Friday!

55,000 people are affected by breast cancer every year in the UK and 1 in 8 of us will be diagnosed with breast cancer during our lifetime. Please help Breast Cancer Care support people affected by breast cancer today. It doesn’t matter if you raise £20 or £200 at your Pink Friday, as every penny will help.
